Exercise and Success

Does exercise play a part in success?

Well, I guess it depends on what you are working on and your idea of what success is.  But in my opinion, yes it does!  Majority of the world has dreams, goals, plans, hopes & desires, but have you ever gotten to a point where you know what you want, you just can not figure out your next step after the initial thought?  Exercise doesn't mean just going to the gym for an hour and sweating out your curls, lol.  Exercise comes in different forms; you can do a brisk walk, stretch, play a sport, meditate, etc.  Besides the healthy aspect of working out, exercise is one of the best ways to do a mental workout.  The brain needs to be stimulated, so movement will also help you to perform at a greater level.

We always say, well I don't really have time to exercise, but if we break down our day, there were plenty of minutes & seconds we could have taken to do at least 30 jumping jacks, right?  So if we don't stop and give ourselves 30 seconds, how are you going to achieve the success of SELF???  See there are different areas and levels to success and a lot of that success comes from just getting that best YOU.

Exercise does help us look stronger and feel stronger, but the clarity you will soon have after riding your body of toxins will help you to move past just having a dream.  You can now rid your mind of the self doubt and move to step 2, putting that dream in your mind on a piece of paper, then steps 3, mapping out how to achieve it........... Then with the next set of exercises you do, your mind becomes clearer and clearer until you are walking down your success path.

As said before success comes in many forms as well as exercise, but the greatest level of success is SELF...so make sure you dedicate time to work on you and there is no way you will not be successful!!!

Focus on your vision

How many times have you sat and thought about what you wanted to do for a future career, the next trip you wanted to take or even what you want for dinner that night!  Well everything starts with having a vision and then your next step would be to break that vision down to get you to that ultimate goal.  Remember, "vision without action is just a daydream".  I have really been focusing a lot of my time now with breaking down all these daydreams that I have had so that that vision can come to a reality.  Nothing is more troublesome than having the same nightmare over and over again about what you want to get out of life and then beating yourself up for not acting on it.  Each day you get up is another chance to create those actions plans, no matter how small they may seem, those small steps push you forward to the vision that is pulling you.  Next time you find yourself daydreaming, snap out of it and write down the first thing you were thinking about.  What was that dream about and why did you zone out to think about it.  If that dream keeps occurring act upon it.  Once you clear that one dream it gives room for another to appear, then go and write that down and act upon that.  Before you know it...you will be writing your recipe to your ultimate vision which can help you see your purpose.

"You were created on purpose for a purpose"!

Until next time, go forth and dream up a vision!

What does it take for a successful event

Planning an event can be super stressful and time consuming, so bring on the Event Planner to take this burden off of you!  Even though the planner has been hired, there are some key elements to make this event go off with successful results.  Here are 5 things that will need to be in place for this to happen:

1. Organization- with so many elements to juggle the planner will need to be the director of this "stage play".  They will need to have a detail plan to manage the vendors, guests, schedules, etc.

2. Attention to detail- the smallest of details can make all the difference when it comes to an event. The Planner will need to plan for anything that could go wrong and be ready for a back up plan right on the spot.  This can make the difference of a repeat customer and their referrals.

3. Temperament- Event Planners always have to be ready for things to go wrong.  Having the ability to stay calm under this type of pressure will keep the event running smoothly without disrupting the mood that was intended.

4. People Skills- Events are all about the people.  Your ability to connect with them will have a lasting effect on not only the client, but on the success of your business.  People skills are something that can always be improved upon because no two clients will be alike.  Event Planners will always need to practice this no matter how experienced or successful they are.

5. Leadership- Event Planners need to have leadership skills.  You will be leading various groups of people from the event staff, the guests and the guest(s) of honor.  Being able to take command of the ship so that each person knows their job and when and where to be make a huge difference in the success of the event.

Here's to a successful event, now go forth and plan!!!

Just the beginning

Well today I am finally working harder towards my goals and my career. Always saying I want to be, I want to be are over. With confidence within me, I am an Event Coordinator!  We work so hard to downplay ourselves instead of fully living and breathing what is on the inside of us.  No longer should we be scared of the success that was already reserved for us in this world.  And to be quite honest, I love how I am feeling about myself today far more than I have ever felt.  It will definitely take some time to get it all working together but the journey of this new venture will make for some great blogs.  So no more feeling like you can't do or you want to do, just do whatever you keep telling yourself you can't achieve and watch how successful you will be with every small step you take!

Here's to success and fulfillment
